Information on the Channel BBC Three

BBC three has been showing since 2003, the target audience is of the ages 15-35. Programes start at 7pm and show till half 4, this is because the target audience do stay up late and watch television.The programs that are shown are provoked and very entertaining. BBC Three takes it inspiration from the viewers themselves, using what they see everyday and change it into humour. There are different genres that are used in the BBC Three programs, genres such as children's, comedy, drama, entertainment, factual, learning, music, news, religion and ethics and sport. There are different formats that are shown in programmes such as animation, appeals, discussion and talk, documentaries, films, games, quizzes, magazines and reviews, makeovers, performances, events, reality and talent shows. The programmes that are shown can contain humour and entertainment, programmes such as Little Britain, Gavin and Stacey, family guy and him and her.

My view

I watch the channel BBC three and find that I can watch whatever is on because the programs shown interest me and I enjoy. My favourite programes are Family guy and American dad. As a viewer I think that BBC three has targeted the audience and that the programs shown are provoked for entertainment.
